Indians Criticize Shahid Afridi for His Controversial Tweet On Kashmir and Narendra Modi
Former
Pakistani skipper Shahid Afridi once again faced criticism from Indian fans for
another of his political tweets. The versatile has never hesitated to speak on
Kashmir-related issues and has always faced criticism from fans. On some
occasions, he has also been criticised by former Indian opener Gautam Gambhir.
Afridi
took to Twitter to again criticise the Indian government's decision to repeal
Article 370. Since
India announced its decision, people across the border have been eager to
demonise the Indian government. Pakistan's prime minister and his former
cricket captain, Imran Khan, have pledged to fight India's decision to revoke
Kashmir's autonomy. Khan said the measure violated international law, adding
that he feared ethnic cleansing by India.
Shahid
Afridi also did his best to tarnish India with his Twitter message. The former
international done a cruel search of Indian Prime Minister Narender Modi with
his false statement, claiming that even the Indians do not support their
leader. Not only that, but Afridi also spread fake news of violence and cruelty
in Kashmir by writing:
"We
expect more @UN to end the violence and cruelty in the Kashmir conflict zone;
The majority of Indians DO NOT SUPPORT the barbaric acts of @narendramodi. It
is time for him to move towards building a wave of long-term peace. "
