The IPL, the local T20 series, has been held in India since 2008. The IPL series, which has been hugely popular among cricket fans, has so far completed 13 seasons. The series, which is held every year with much fanfare, was completed last year only quietly due to the impact of the coronavirus.
 
This year's Indian Premier League 14th Edition IPL 2021 is scheduled to take place in April-May 2021. The BCCI plans to hold the entire IPL 2021 tournament in just the states of India. IPL 2021 league matches to be played in Mumbai and then play-off rounds at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. With the corona still not fully depleted in India, Bio Bubble is set to stay in the same state and host the IPL series.

Because that's where the four stadiums (Wankhede, DY Patil, Brabourne, and Reliance Cricket Stadium) are. Therefore, the BCCI plans to leave the league matches in Mumbai and then hold the playoff rounds at the newly opened Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. There is talk among the fans that the BCCI should have taken this decision considering the safety of the players. However, the BCCI has not officially announced this. Fans are waiting to see when the schedule for the one-page IPL series will be released.
