MS Dhoni Playing Cricket with Kids in Leh
Former
Indian captain MS Dhoni is currently stationed in Jammu and Kashmir and serves
for his battalion in the Territorial Army. Earlier in the day, he completed his
military relay in Leh and flew home. Before returning, the legendary cricketer
played cricket with the young children of the new Union territory, Leh.
Dhoni
is currently on cricket leave for two months after a dismal campaign for the
2019 ICC World Cup. The fan and the former cricketer sharply criticized MS
Dhoni for his slow batting, which hurt the team very badly. There was
speculation that he might withdraw from cricket, but there was no indication of
that at this time.
However,
according to popular perception, the cricketer who is in the twilight of his
career will be with the team until the T20 World Cup next year and will help
the newlywed Rishabh Pant before saying goodbye to the game.
MS
Dhoni has spent his time in the army and has played various sports, including
volleyball and cricket. Recently, he was seen playing with young children in
Leh. Dhoni also promised to open a cricket academy in Ladakh. According to
reports, the former skipper will officially inform the Ministry of Sports of
his plans to open an academy in Kashmir soon.
Meanwhile,
India is currently playing against the West Indies. They have already won the
T20I and ODI series. The two-match test run will begin on August 22 and will
also be part of the World Test Championship. MS Dhoni is likely to return to
action in the next series against South Africa. The Men in Blues will play
three T20I and Tests from September 15.
