Babar Azam ends a memorable run for Somerset
Pakistani star Babar Azam bid farewell after a memorable run at the Somerset club
as the club ended its run at the 2019 Vitality Blast.
"It
Was a great day with the Somerset family and their fans. I am grateful to all
of you for the love I have received here," Azam tweeted.
The
Somerset club congratulated the top Pakistani batsman for his excellent
performance throughout the tournament.
Azam
Remained the tournament's leading scorer with 578 points in 13 matches, scoring
an impressive average of more than 52. Azam also hit his second T20 ton after
scoring 102 points against Hampshire.
Despite
A record performance, Azam failed against Middlesex. He was fired for a golden
duck in his team's dramatic defeat and the release of Vitality Blast 2019.
