Irfan Pathan Welcomes Bumrah into Hat-Trick Club

Irfan Pathan welcomes new player Jasprit Bumrah to the hat-trick club. Bumrah became the third Indian bowler to score a hat-trick in the test fold after Irfan Pathan and Harbhajan Singh. The fast-thrower managed to get the wickets of Darren Bravo, Shamarh Brooks and Roston Chase in his hat trick.

Shamarh Brooks and Roston Chase were led in front of the wickets while KL Rahul overtook Darren Bravo. It was a brilliant bowling trick from Jasprit Bumrah who was breathing through the necks of the hosts' batsmen. The West Indies players did not find an answer to the difficult questions posed by the talisman leader. Bumrah was able to hit the right areas, and so he was rewarded for his pristine line and length.

This is the fifth time Bumrah has carried five-wicket hauls, and he is playing only his 12th Test match. Thus, he has made enormous progress; besides, he was able to complete his five-wicket haul in 35 deliveries.

On the other hand, Harbhajan Singh became the first Indian pitcher to score a hat trick in the Test format. The attacking player scored a crucial hat trick in the famous Kolkata Test match against Australia. Meanwhile, Irfan Pathan scored his hat trick in the 2006 Karachi Test match against rival Pakistan.
