The International Cricket Council (ICC) has granted matches international status. There was a big question about how players from Pakistan and India will present the way together considering that the relationship between these two boards is not normal.

Speaking to IANS, BCCI Joint Secretary Jayesh George openly said no Pakistani players will be invited. "What we know is that unfortunately there will be no Pakistan players in Asia XI. That's the message, so it's not about both countries joining or choosing over each other. Sourav Ganguly will decide the five players who will be part of Asia XI," he said.

After welcoming Sri Lanka, PCB chief Ehsan Mani had said Pakistan has better security than India.
"We have shown that Pakistan is safe if someone does not come, then they should prove that it is not safe." Right now, India has a much higher security risk than Pakistan. Now no one should doubt the security arrangements in Pakistan after Sri Lanka's successful series of tests.

It is a turning point for the revival of test cricket in Pakistan and soon Bangladesh will tour of Pakistan for Test Cricket. The media and fans played an important role in portraying a positive image of Pakistan around the world," Ehsan Mani said.

Recently, when BCCI President Sourav Ganguly introduced the idea of a four-nation tournament, former Pakistani captain Rashid Latif called it an idea of failure.

"By playing such a wonderful series, these four countries want to separate the other member countries, which is not good news. But I think this will be an idea of failure as the Big Three model, which was introduced a few years ago," Latif said in a YouTube video.
