Azam crushed scores 100 on 55 deliveries during the current Vitality Blast
2019. The world leader in T20I batting broke his career record 102 ahead of
Hampshire in Southampton on Friday, August 9. The century was marked on the
last ball of the match. Babar Azam extended his side to 202/4, the batsman also
made two catches while Hampshire was reduced to 69/6 with a 12.1 overtake
before the rain took away the rest of the game.

the Pakistani superstar had paved the way for his team against Mohammad Amir's
Essex in a one-sided match. Babar, the top scorer with 56 points on just 39 deliveries
with 7 fours a 6, helped Somerset score 225 points at home in their 20 wins
over Essex in Chelmsford on Wednesday. Babar has been Pakistan's top batsman
for about a year and his sublime form has continued in the T20 tournament. He
again became the top scorer for the 2019 Vitality Blast point with 425 points
in eight games.
