The
Federal Cabinet on Friday approved the new cricket structure of the Pakistan
Cricket Board, which submitted it to the PM for final approval after the
Ministry of Interprovincial Coordination approved the proposed changes to the
structure National.
According
to sources, the PCB submitted its new constitution to the IPC Ministry in June.
After approval, it was sent to the federal cabinet for final approval.
The
federal cabinet approved the amendments to the CONSTITUTION of the PAC. Under
the new changes, ministries are no longer part of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, the
country's largest tournament. Instead of the departmental teams, 6 regional
teams will participate in this year's Quaid Trophy.
Under
the new changes, 6 teams include two teams from southern and northern Punjab,
Sindh, KPK, Balochistan and a team from the northern region, including
Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gilgit / Baltistan and AJK. The first tournament of this
year will take place in accordance with the new constitution.
