Australia officials to visit Pakistan in September
Australian
President Earl Edings and General Manager Kevin Roberts will visit Pakistan
from 16-18 September, while the director and director of the England and Wales
Cricket Council will visit later in October, the President of the Cricket
Council of Pakistan, Ehsan Mani.
The announcement was made at the 55th meeting of the PAC Board of Governors (BoG)
In Lahore. Besides, the Board of Directors has established a three-member
nominating committee to strengthen the governance structure of the PAC following Clause 41 of the 2019 PAC Constitution.
The three-member committee will be chaired by Asad Ali Khan and will include
Shahrez Abdullah Khan and Bakhtiar Khawaja (independent) as members. The PAC's
senior legal counsel, lawyer Salman Naseer, will serve as secretary of the committee.
Among
the four independent directors, there will be a woman for the first time in the
History of the PAC. The Board of Directors recognised and appreciated the CCP's
efforts to convince Sri Lanka Cricket to send its team to the ODI and T20I
series, which will run from September 27 to October 9, and advised the Cricket
Committee to set up the best arrangements for the visiting team.
