Caribbean Premier League Winner of All Seasons
We have mentioned all the list
of Caribbean Premier League CPL winners of all seasons with finalists, and
runners-up. The First League or CPL of the Caribbean was played for the first
time in 2013. It takes place in the Caribbean and is therefore named after it.
Cricket West Indies CWI is the administrator of this tournament. This year's
CPL 2020 Live Stream is the 7th edition of the tournament, which will begin on
September 4, 2019. The final match will take place on October 12, 2019.
The
six teams that will play in the Caribbean Premier League this year are:
- Barbados Tridents
- Guyana Amazon Warriors
- Tallawahs of Jamaica
- St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots
- St. Lucie Stars
- Trinbago Knight Riders
List of All CPL winners
The
St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots had started playing in 2015. From this season, the
Antigua Hawksbills team has become obsolete. Trinbago Knight Riders have won
the trophy three times (2015, 2017, 2018). They are also the defending
champions. The Knight Riders have won the tournament twice in a row. If they
can win it again this year, they will make history by making a hat-trick of
victories. The Trinbago Knight riders were known as the Red Steel of Trinidad
and Tobago until 2016.
Team
Antigua Hawksbills played in the first two seasons of the CPL but had failed to
score. St. Lucia Stars is the other team that has never won the Caribbean
Premier League and has never been a finalist. Jamaica Tallawahs won the
inaugural season of the tournament as well as the 2016 edition. They had never
been finalists.
In
2016, the Tridents of Barbados were the champions and next season they were the
finalists. They weren't the winners, but St. Nevis and Kitts Patriots were the
finalists in 2017. The Guyana Amazon Warriors team has been crowned the most
times. They have been in the same position four times - in 2013, 2014, 2016 and
2018 but failed to win the title.
