Rabada has a Special Message for Bumrah and Archer

Kagiso Rabada has had a good 2019 so far. He picked up 44 wickets at an average of 28.65 out of all three formats of the game. But with the growing popularity of Jasprit Bumrah and Jofra Archer, Rabada was slightly overshadowed, although he was the fourth-biggest wicket-taker among fast bowlers.

This Is partly because of South Africa's poor performance at the 2019 World Cup. The 24-year-old said there were a lot of 'ups and downs' while 'now a career' and that he could be 'disappointed' with Proteas' performance at the World Cup, but not 'angry.'

"It's Never easy to maintain a career; I've [Rabada] learned that there are a lot of ups and downs. I want to be the best in the world, everyone does it," Rabada told iol.co.za. "You're going to compete this way naturally, I'm not too worried, I feel good and easy."

"I'm Disappointed, not angry (about the World Cup). What do I do with anger? When a setback happens, you want to be determined, you don't want to change much. It's about seeing where you got it wrong and then doing extra work. "

With only a few months to go until five years of international cricket, the quickie claimed 176 wickets in the Tests, with an average of 21.77 and a strike rate of 38.8. In limited formats, he added 117 ODI wickets to 27.34 and a total of 25 wickets in 19 International T20s to his name.

Although the spotlight is currently on Jasprit Bumrah and Jofra Archer, Rabada is focused solely on improving its performance.

When asked about the two high-performance costers, here's what the Proteas player had to say -

"I Admire these bowlers, they are good bowlers. However, the media insist on some players, and that's good; I know I played very well. Archer is such a natural talent. Bumrah does wonders, and this can force you to improve your game. You're not always at the top, that's one thing I can tell you. "

Earlier, the Proteas speedster had blamed the "terrible" pitches for South Africa's defeat to the hosts of the three-match test series on their last tour of India.

South Africa will face India on its home soil in three T20Is starting on 15 September, followed by three tests, starting on 2 October.
